The Alba Dress
In Greek mythology, white was associated with healing, protection, and fertility. In Norse, white was seen as a symbol of prosperity, luck, and victory. The Greek goddess Aphrodite was often depicted wearing white clothing and jewellery to illustrate her connection to the divine.
The Ancient Egyptians named the colour “hedj”, and saw it as a colour of purity, truth, and rebirth, and was believed to be the colour of the gods. By itself, the colour can act as a blank canvas to bring out other colours, or as a minimalist chic statement on its own.
Made to flatter, the mesmerising high-low flow of the dress to enhance every little movement.
From which comes our Alba dress, with all the calm grace it exudes.
